What is your primary product or service?
Providing a sophisticated, contemporary facility for ballroom dancing, small performing arts groups, club meetings and other like events as well as private affairs. Dancing!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been a dancer all of my life with extensive experience in the field as teacher and performer.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Sashay is "one of a kind". We do workshops to help people get into dancing, and teach some lessons. We provide the "nice place" to go for a night out of dancing. There is no place else with a 1500ft. floating dance floor, audiophile musical quality and a beautiful setting. We also have a cafe and serve healthy gourmet drinks and treats. Guests may bring their own wine and beer and all of this is situated in a convenient and charming plaza .
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have only the one location with no plans to expand.

We are centrally located in Lakewood Ranch just one mile east from Exit 213 onto University Parkway from I-75. Sashay is in San Marco Plaza. The best access is via Town Center Parkway off of University Parkway. Proceed about 1/2 mile, almost to the stop sign and turn right into our parking area. This takes you directly into the parking lot--Bear right around the back of the buildings to Sashay.
What type of payments do you accept?
Only cash and checks.

The whole west coast of Florida-potentially
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Sandra Danu is owner and manager.
What are your hours of operation?
Our indoor/ outdoor cafe is open weekdays from 12-5. The dance club is open only by reservation and depends on an minimum of 10 to open. On Sundays, by reservation, we offer a "Movin' to the Music" introduction to social dance workshop from 4-6pm.
